There are some 220 grandmother groups affiliated with the Grandmothers Campaign that are raising awareness and funds for grandmothers in Africa and the orphans in their care through the Stephen Lewis Foundation. As the Grandmothers Campaign has evolved, a number of regional groupings have emerged as a way to coordinate the activities, messages and resources of granny groups in cities and provinces across Canada.
