The Apple Route Grannies will have a booth at the local Applefest street fair. Along with information about the Stephen Lewis Foundation, the Grandmothers Campaign and how to get involved with the local group, the booth will feature homemade goodies such as apple pies and jars of preserves and handmade items such as scarves, slippers and mittens. Kazuri jewellery will also be available for sale.
The highlight of this day will be the parade through the town, in which the Apple Route Grannies will have a float decorated with their banners and SLF posters. If you’re lucky you can catch the Apple Route Grannies singing and drumming! So please join in!!!
