The Grandmothers Campaign was launched in March 2006 and since that date, over 240 grandmothers groups have been formed from St. John’s to Whitehorse. The Campaign has raised over $16.5 million – through countless national, regional and local endeavours – to support the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s work with grassroots projects run by and for grandmothers. These organizations are saving lives, restoring hope, and are on the cusp of turning the tide of the pandemic right across the continent.
